Students named to dean's list at Shawnee State

Shawnee State University Provost Alan Walker, Ph.D., has released the dean's list for the spring semester 2015. To be named on the list, students must be full time and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

  • Margot Current of Circleville, majoring in Business Administration
  • Schuyler McIlvaine of Circleville, majoring in Sport Studies
  • Samuel Garner of Circleville, majoring in Business Administration
  • Shaelyn Hart of Circleville, majoring in Nursing
  • Zackary Rogols of Circleville, majoring in Digital Simulation & Gaming
  • Kaitlin Bartholomew of Circleville, majoring in International Relations

Locals graduate from Shawnee State

Shawnee State University held commencement on Saturday, May 9, conferring degrees on 439 students with 250 receiving bachelor's degrees, 179 receiving associate's degrees and three graduates receiving master's degrees.

  • Drew Robbins of Ashville earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts.
  • Taylor Conn of Ashville earned a Bachelor of Individualized Studies in Individualized Studies.
  • Crystal Merritt of Circleville earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
  • Shaelyn Hart of Circleville earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Justin Ellis of Orient earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
  • Miranda Brown of Circleville earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing.
  • Katelyn Castillo of Circleville earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing.
  • Kortney Cooper of Circleville earned an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology.
  • Kelsey Tuinstra of Circleville earned an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology.
  • Chelsea Large of Circleville earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing.
