May 15

- An employee at Genesis Healthcare on Atwater Avenue reported a subject possibly driving under the influence after leaving the facility. Officers were advised to be on the lookout for the vehicle.

- John F. Hill, Betsy S. Vangundy and Charles H. Russell Jr. were arrested in the 800 block of South Scioto Street after officers assisted the Circleville Probation Department in an attempt to serve a warrant. All three are charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Hill also is charged with possession of narcotics.

- Extra patrol was requested in the 300 block of East Mill Street after a resident reported his vehicle was recently damaged and he had seen subjects walking around the area.

- Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person in the alley at the rear of the 100 block of West Ohio Street. Officers made contact with the subject, who checked OK.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 500 block of Renick Avenue. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to a call from a patient at Genesis Health Care on Atwater Avenue. The nursing staff would be handling the situation, and the scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm twice at Tractor Supply on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

- The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office advised of a vehicle driving recklessly on Lancaster Pike. Officers located the vehicle and advised the driver of his driving habits.

- A resident in the 1200 block of Turner Drive reported a neighbor keeps burning trash and her vehicle was covered with soot. Both parties were advised of the city's burning ordinance.

- An employee at Tangent Air on Edison Avenue reported extensive damage to the building overnight, and it appeared someone had attempted to break in. A report was taken on criminal damaging, and extra patrol was requested.

- A resident in the 100 block of Francene Court reported someone tried to break into her residence while she was away. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Mound Street reported finding a needle at the side of her house and that it was the fifth time in recent memory. Officers located and disposed of the item.

- An officer took a report on six knives not retrieved from Circleville Municipal Court. A report was taken on found property.

- Officers performed a well-being check in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. The subject was transported to the hospital.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 400 block of Stella Avenue. A subject was transported to the hospital.

- A resident in the 800 block of Clinton Street reported a juvenile on a bicycle shooting at street signs with a BB gun. The juvenile was located and turned over to his parents for discipline.

- A resident in the 500 block of Northridge Road reported her daughter was not listening. The officer advised the juvenile on her behavior.

- Officers responded to a child custody dispute in the 200 block of Logan Street. All parties were advised of the civil issue.

- An anonymous caller reported a possible drunk driver at Rural King on U.S. Route 23. The subject checked OK.

- A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly southbound on Court Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

- A resident in the 300 block of Eva Drive reported a neighbor burning trash in the back yard. The fire was extinguished, and residents were advised of the city ordinance.

- A resident in the 200 block of South Pickaway Street reported threats or harassment by a known subject. The caller requested extra patrol.

- A caller reported a suspicious male entering the construction site at the new Circleville Middle School on Clark Drive. The scene checked OK.

- An anonymous caller reported a 12 to 13-year-old male riding a mini bike in the roadway in the 100 block of East Mill Street, sometimes placing a toddler on the bike with him. Officers were unable to locate the juvenile.

- An employee from Berger Hospital reported a subject in the emergency room who had been involved in an altercation in an alley near East Ohio Street. The subject declined to file a report.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm at Pickaway-Ross on East Mound Street. The scene checked OK.

- A resident in the 200 block of Island Road reported his daughter had locked them out of the residence. The juvenile was advised regarding her behavior.

- Officers responded to reports of a known male who got out of a truck in the intersection at Logan and South Washington streets and struck a female in another vehicle several times. Both parties then left the scene. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the female and requested a squad due to complaints of head pains from the assault. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

- A resident in the 200 block of West Mound Street reported her adult son had been assaulted outside the residence with a baseball bat, and a second caller reported there was a group of people outside and it appeared there were baseball bats involved. All parties were advised to stay away from each other, and a report was taken on disorderly conduct.

- Officers spoke with a Stoutsville resident regarding a child custody issue in the city. The male was referred to his attorney.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Ohio Street reported her bathroom was full of smoke and the residence was evacuated. The fire department handled the scene.

- A caller reported someone trying to break into Dairy Queen on South Court Street. Officers advised it was a male and female with two small juveniles standing out front trying to get out of the rain. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person walking in and out of traffic in the 400 block of East Mound Street, then the subject left the scene. Officers performed a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Mill Street, and then cleared the call.

- Extra patrol was requested in the 300 block of East Mill Street after a resident reported he had just repaired his vehicle and someone was threatening to damage it again.

May 16

- A 911 caller reported a possible drunk driver on Lancaster Pike. Officers located the vehicle at Kroger, and the driver advised she had been driving cautiously so as not to hit a deer. The subject checked OK.

- Amanda M. Lynd was arrested for domestic violence in the 300 block of Logan Street after a caller advised of a fight at the location.

- Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person in the area of Little Bear Market on Harrison Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

- Officers performed a well-being check on a subject in the 500 block of South Court Street who was reportedly suicidal. The subject was determined to be in Fairfield County and checked OK.

- A 911 caller reported a disturbance at Gio's on South Court Street involving about six people. The incident was a misunderstanding between intoxicated individuals, and they were given sober rides home. One person declined charges, but a report was taken on assault.

- A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported a loud party in the area. Officers were unable to locate any noise violations.

- A 911 caller reported her son woke up saying there was a woman banging on the door in the 100 block of Hayes Court. A second 911 caller reported a female was banging on her door looking for her boyfriend. The subject was advised about trespassing and sent on her way. The caller was advised to call if the woman came back.

- A resident in the 300 block of Pontious Lane reported a neighbor shooting BB guns in the yard. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

- A resident in the 500 block of East Ohio Street reported a neighbor's dogs barking non-stop. The owner was advised.

- Officers responded to a property damage accident at Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23.

- A resident in the 400 block of East Main Street reported an unknown male was at the residence stating he was there to mow her lawn and claims to have been to the house previously. Officers determined the male had the wrong address, and the resident requested extra patrol for the evening.

- A resident in the 200 block of Timberline Drive reported his son was knocked down and injured by an older juvenile near their home, and the juvenile was being treated at the Berger Hospital emergency room. Officers determined the juvenile fell off a bike. No report was taken at this time.

- A resident in the 500 block of Renick Avenue reported juveniles hanging around the area and speeding in the neighborhood. Information was obtained.

- A resident in the 1100 block of South Washington Street reported his son let someone use his cell phone, and now the subject was refusing to return it. A report was taken on theft, and charges were filed.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 600 block of Island Road. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of South Scioto Street. Both parties were advised of their conduct, and a report was taken.

- An employee at Subway on Lancaster Pike reported a male subject hanging around the area for the past several hours. The subject checked OK.

- A resident reported a motorcycle driving recklessly in the area of East Mound Street. Officers were advised to be on the lookout.

- A caller reported someone had tried to break into his grandparents' home while they were away in the 800 block of Lincoln Drive. Extra patrol was requested.

- A caller reported a male subject staggering around the area of Mingo and East Union Street walking toward the tracks. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

- A resident in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street reported his ex-girlfriend was moving out of the residence and a gun was missing, and the two were arguing about whether or not she took it. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

- A resident in the 200 block of Pontious Lane reported a known male subject had words with her 7-year-old daughter, and when the caller said something to him about it, he drew his fists as if he wanted to fight. The information was documented for future reference.

- Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Kingston Court. The male advised he would be staying elsewhere for the night. A report was taken.

- Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 500 block of Gumm Place.

- A resident in the 300 block of Maumee Drive came to the police station to report the theft of jewelry.

- A caller advised a male subject was outside the Speedway on Lancaster Pike asking customers for money and telling the employees how to do their jobs. Officers advised it was the same subject from Subway earlier, and he was advised to move along.

- A resident in the 1200 block of South Court Street reported a male subject who appeared to be sleeping on the bench in front of the old fire station across from her residence. Officers made contact with the subject, who advised he was talking on the phone. The scene checked OK.

- A resident reported three males riding skateboards in the 500 block of South Washington Street in the middle of the roadway cursing at cars at they drove past. The subjects were juveniles, and they were advised of their behavior.

- An employee at Arby's reported receiving three prank phone calls about midnight and requested extra patrol in the area. All units were advised.

May 17

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of Hayward Street. The scene checked OK.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Franklin Street reported two battery chargers were stolen from his boat overnight.

- A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported her vehicle windows had been busted out overnight.

- A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported a gun was stolen. A report was taken on theft.

- Ronnie L. Miller Jr. of Frankfort was arrested for receiving stolen property following a traffic stop in the alley at Town and Court streets after the vehicle was identified as stolen.

- Officers responded as mutual aid to an activated alarm at Marshall's Auto Parts on state Route 56 East. The call was canceled by the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office.

- Officers were requested for a stand-by in the 200 block of South Scioto Street. No one answered the door at the location, and the stand-by was canceled.

- The fire department was requested as mutual aid for Harrison Township in the 9000 block of state Route 188 on a possible outside gas leak.

- A resident reported a verbal fight in the 100 block of Walnut Street. A report was taken on aggravated menacing.

- An employee from Spires Pest Control advised he was trimming a tree in the 1100 block of North Court Street and accidentally knocked down an electrical pole. The fire department and AEP handled the scene.

- Timothy M. Karshner was arrested for domestic violence in the 200 block of Plum Street after being transported to Berger Hospital for evaluation.

- Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 200 block of West Huston Street. A report was taken.

- Officers responded to reports of a vehicle driving recklessly through alleyways in the 100 block of East Union Street that almost struck a man in a wheelchair. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

- Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Kingston Court. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 600 block of East Mound Street. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to reports of a custody dispute in the 500 block of Renick Avenue. A report was taken.

- Officers responded to a minor property damage accident in the parking lot at Kroger on Lancaster Pike.

- Officers responded to a custody dispute in the 200 block of Ridgeview Drive. Information was obtained.

- The West Jefferson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol requested an officer in the 200 block of West Mound Street after locating a stolen vehicle. A report was taken on an agency assist.

- A 911 caller advised someone was stealing parts off a vacant trailer in the 200 block of Timberline Drive. Contact was made with the person believed to be the homeowner, who advised they had permission to dismantle the trailer and remove it. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 900 block of South Court Street. The scene checked OK.

- A 911 caller reported a male grabbed a young girl by the collar and yanked her off a vehicle in the 100 block of Mingo Street. The juvenile checked OK.

- A resident in the 300 block of East High Street reported former tenants of the property were driving by throwing pots and pans at her air conditioner and had damaged it. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.
