May 26

- Officers responded to an activated alarm at Christopher's Boutique on South Court Street. The scene checked OK.

- Dispatchers received a 911 call with no record found. The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office advised they received the same thing, and they believed it to be trouble with the system.

- A 911 caller reported loud arguing in the 800 block of South Scioto Street. The officer advised the person causing the problem left before officers arrived.

- Jesse Day was arrested in the 700 block of South Court Street after a caller advised another male subject was banging on her door and refusing to leave. A report was taken on underage alcohol and disorderly conduct.

- A 911 caller reported she was attacked during what appeared to be a landlord/tenant dispute in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue. The officer advised the caller to contact the Housing Authority regarding her complaint. No report was taken.

- Officers responded to a property damage accident in the intersection at North Court and High streets.

- The Pickaway County Housing Authority advised an officer was needed in reference to vandalism and criminal damage being done to a building in the 800 block of Kingston Court. A report was taken on menacing.

- A caller advised a cat was stuck under the hood of his vehicle in the parking lot at Short Stop on East Main Street. The cat was rescued by the Circleville Fire Department and transported to the Circle Area Humane Society.

- An employee at Hardee's reported someone had left belongings at the restaurant. A report was taken on found property.

- Kenneth Horner was arrested in the 300 block of East Franklin Street on a felony warrant out of Union County.

- A resident came to the police station to report the theft of medication in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue. A report was taken.

- A resident in the 100 block of Margaret Lane reported damage to her door. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

- A resident in the 100 block of Third Avenue requested an officer to assist in a disturbance. No report was taken on the dispute.

- A caller reported the Brooks Yates building at 1005 S. Pickaway St. had been burglarized and vandalized. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

- A business owner in the 1100 block of North Court Street reported his office had been broken into. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

- Officers performed a well-being check in the 100 block of Highland Avenue. The officer was unable to locate anyone at that address.

- The Circleville Fire Department responded as mutual aid with Pickaway Township on a barn fire behind Walmart.

- A caller reported her daughter saw a juvenile being assaulted by a male in the alley between Logan and Town streets. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

- A caller stated the manager at Apple Ridge Apartments was being threatened by a resident, and they would like the person removed. The person was given a no trespass letter and was waiting in the parking lot for a ride. A short time later, the subject came back, and a report was taken on criminal trespass.

- A resident in the 200 block of Timberline Drive reported a theft. A report was taken.

- Officers responded to a property damage accident in the parking lot at CVS on East Main Street.

- Extra patrol was requested at Sheffield at Sylvan after reports of juveniles from Metropolitan Housing looking into residents' windows at the complex.

- A resident in the 100 block of Lewis Avenue reported someone had stolen medication out of her vehicle. A report was taken on theft.

- The Circleville Fire Department responded as mutual aid for Pickaway Township for an accident in front of Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of Sycamore Drive. The scene checked OK.

- A caller reported a known female cut her off and almost struck her in the parking lot at Pickaway Terrace on Arapaho Drive. All units were advised.

- A caller reported her daughter's vehicle was covered in black spray in the 23500 block of U.S. Route 23. A report was taken.

- A resident came to the police station to report someone was scamming her mother out of money in the 1000 block of Lynwood Avenue. A report was taken on theft from the elderly.

- Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call from the pay phones at Little Bear Market. They were unable to locate anyone in the area.

- Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Town Street. The vehicle was unoccupied and legally parked when officers arrived.

- Dispatchers received four 911 hang-up calls with no records found between 10:55 p.m. and 1:56 a.m.

- A resident in the 200 block of Town Street reported an opossum was in his house and he wanted help getting rid of it. A message was left for the county wildlife officer, and the caller was advised to contact a pest control company.

May 27

- Officers responded to an activated alarm at Christopher's Boutique on South Court Street. The scene checked OK.

- An officer was flagged down and advised of a male sleeping in front of the old Dollar General store on Morris Road. The officer advised the manager at Carnival Foods OK'd him sleeping there that night but would need to move on in the morning. The officer attempted to call Circle of Light shelter, but there was no answer. The male was advised to contact the police department in the morning to call PICCA for assistance.

- An employee at Duke and Duchess on East Main Street reported someone left "dope" behind on her counter. A report was taken on found property.

- An officer reported finding a vehicle parked in the roadway in the 200 block of South Washington Street. The vehicle was impounded, and a citation was issued.

- An officer advised finding an open door at the Church of Christ in Christian Union on East Ohio Street. The officer secured the door, and the scene checked OK.

- Narcotics were recovered during a traffic stop on North Court at Water Street. A summons was issued.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of York Street. The scene checked OK.

- A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street reported problems with her 14-year-old daughter. A report was taken on an unruly juvenile.

- While an officer was on another call, he noticed a loose canine running around the area. It was returned to its home, and the owner was advised regarding leash laws.

- Kevin Kellstadt was arrested for OVI in the 100 block of Watt Street.

- An employee at Forest Cemetery reported finding a girl's bicycle on the premises. A report was taken on found property.

- A resident in the 400 block of East Union Street reported suspicious males in the area of South Court and East Union claiming they were there to mow grass but they were now inside the residence. Officers advised the males were hired to manage the property, and they checked OK.

- A resident came to the police station to report a lot of trash and dog feces in the back yard of a residence in the 100 block of East Mill Street. A report was taken.

- A 911 caller reported her brother comes into her home at night and steals things from her in the 300 block of Pontious Lane. A report was taken.

- An employee at Zwayer Insurance on North Court Street reported a confrontation with a customer. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

- A resident in the 100 block of South Pickaway Street reported three juvenile males were walking toward Main Street on Franklin with some sort of sprayer they were using to spray bushes and catch them on fire. Officers were unable to locate.

- A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street advised she was worried where her money is going. No report was taken.

- The Circleville Fire Department was requested as mutual aid for a barn fire behind Walmart.

- A resident in the 300 block of South Scioto Street advised someone had stolen her medication. A report was taken.

- A resident in the 200 block of Meadow Drive reported her son had been gone since the day before. No report was taken. The caller advised she did not believe he would harm himself, and he left on his own.

- A resident in the 200 block of Pearl Avenue reported someone had partially cut the cable line in front of his home.

- A caller reported the back of his apartment building had been spray-painted in the 100 block of West Main Street. A report was taken on vandalism.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Mound Street reported a known subject had stolen prescription medication from her purse. A report was taken on theft.

- A caller advised they wanted to report a property damage accident that occurred last Saturday at North Court Street and Morris Road. No report was taken.

- A caller reported someone broke into the building at Brooks Yates on South Pickaway Street and activated a fire extinguisher all over the children's toys and tore up the building. The caller could not advise if the incident occurred due to everything being cleaned up. No report was taken.

- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Walnut Street in which a male subject reported his wife got into her vehicle and struck his truck and boat while leaving. The female subject was located at Porter's Laundry, and both parties advised it was a verbal argument only. No damage was discovered on the vehicles or the boat. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

- Extra patrol was requested in the 400 block of North Pickaway Street after a caller reported a suspicious male in the area walking between sheds. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

- Officers performed a well-being check in the 100 block of Third Avenue. The subject checked OK.

- A resident in the 500 block of Renick Avenue reported harassment by two known subjects. A report was taken.
