July 24

- A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported a neighbor's dog was barking, which was unusual unless someone was prowling around the area. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.

- Officers took a report on possession of drug abuse instruments following a traffic stop in the 700 block of Clinton Street.

- A resident in the area of York Street reported a street cleaner was keeping her awake. The service department was advised of the complaint.

- A caller reported a white SUV struck her vehicle and kept going southbound on South Court Street. A report was taken on a property damage hit-skip.

- A resident in the 1000 block of Mulberry Road reported the odor of something hot and smoke inside the home. The fire department handled the scene.

- A resident came to the police station to report he was arrested for the theft of a phone, and he had the receipt from when he purchased it.

- A caller reported a male and female in a loud verbal altercation northbound on South Washington Street from Mound Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

- A resident in the 300 block of Town Street reported a known female was walking around his property looking in the windows. Officers were unable to locate the female.

- An employee at Dollar General on Lancaster Pike reported a known male was just in the business after attempting to steal items by shoving things into his pants, and he continued to argue with the caller and then left the scene. A report was taken on theft.

- A resident reported she found a "no outlet" sign lying in the middle of the roadway on South Street. The service department was advised.

- The Ohio State Highway Patrol advised of a vehicle driving recklessly eastbound on Route 22 West and then onto South Western Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

- Officers performed a well-being check on juveniles in the 200 block of Mace Drive after a caller reported she believed the mother was beating them. The children checked OK.

- An Ashville resident reported she found a 30-day tag while walking in the 100 block of Walnut Street. Dispatch made contact with the owner. No report was taken.

- A 911 caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly southbound on Northridge Road. The officer located the vehicle at Speedway on North Court Street and determined the driver was having car troubles. The scene checked OK.

- A resident of Indiana reported her mother recently passed away and someone had been trying to use one of her credit cards at Walmart in Circleville. The call was transferred to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office.

- The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported a vehicle driving recklessly that just pulled into the parking lot at Fast Lane Marathon on East Main Street. Officers made contact with the driver, and a citation was issued.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Ohio Street reported a neighbor's dog attacked his dog, who was going to need medical attention. A report was taken.

- A 911 caller reported seeing a pickup truck in Forest Cemetery, and the passenger had a cutting board in his lap. The caller believed the incident was drug-related. A report was taken on possession of marijuana, and a summons was issued to the driver.

- A caller reported he went to mow a yard at a friend's home in the 100 block of Logan Street and observed the garage had been broken into. A report was taken on breaking and entering.

- A resident in the 500 block of Renick Avenue reported he left his bank card in an ATM machine and money from his account had been taken. A report was taken on theft.

- Extra patrol was requested in the 100 block of West Ohio Street after a caller reported threats from a felon from Jackson County.

- A 911 caller reported a disturbance in the 400 block of East Union Street. A report was taken.

- A caller in the 400 block of South Washington Street requested an officer due to his adult son causing problems. The male left the residence and would call the next day for an officer stand-by to obtain his property. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

July 25

- A resident in the 300 block of Logan Street reported someone stole her iPad. A report was taken on burglary.

- A 911 caller reported her husband was driving drunk in the area of Court and High streets. The vehicle was located at Speedway on Lancaster Pike, and the male was standing outside. He denied driving the vehicle and had a sober person with him. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.

- A male subject advised he believed he had a warrant for his arrest and wanted to turn himself in on Town Street at Lowery Lane. Officers were unable to find a warrant on the male, and he was advised.

- A resident in the 500 block of Tower Court reported a disturbance outside his residence. Officers spoke with neighbors, who advised there were juveniles outside playing with toy swords, but they had gone inside.

- The Pickaway County Sheriff's Office requested a squad for a male prisoner just brought in who was extremely intoxicated. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital. Dispatchers then advised a South Bloomfield officer was requesting assistance at Berger with the inmate.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Mound Street requested an officer check the area due to dogs barking. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area, and extra patrol was requested.

- A resident in the 900 block of South Court Street reported he was on the Internet and saw people making threats toward police officers. No report was taken.

- A resident in the 500 block of Nicholas Square reported fire alarms kept going off inside her apartment. The fire department handled the scene.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 600 block of East Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.

- A resident in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported a male subject was on the property who had previously been ordered off the property. A report was taken on trespassing.

- Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 1000 block of South Pickaway Street.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 500 block of Stella Avenue. The scene checked OK.

- An employee at Berger Hospital reported a patient in the emergency room from a dog bite incident in the 100 block of Johnson Drive. The victim did not want a report or any action taken.

- Officers responded to reports of a system tamper with an alarm in the 500 block of Stella Avenue. The scene checked OK.

- Officers took a report on a mental issue in the 100 block of Pontious Lane.

- A resident in the 300 block of Weldon Avenue reported items were missing from the residence she just moved out of, and her mother was refusing to give her property back to her. A report was taken on theft.

- A caller reported her son and a female passenger had possession of her vehicle without permission in the Savings Bank drive-thru on Pinckney Street. The vehicle was stopped by a Sheriff's deputy at Route 23 and Huston Street, and officers advised the vehicle was not stolen. A report was taken on miscellaneous.

- Officers responded to reports of a disabled vehicle on West Main Street at Scioto Street.

- A 911 caller requested assistance due to a dead battery in the 100 block of Sycamore Drive. The caller was advised on the use of 911 and was transferred to Fletcher's Towing.

- A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly on U.S. Route 22 eastbound from the cloverleaf on Route 23. The vehicle was located, and officers advised the driver was tired. The scene checked OK.

- A resident in the 100 block of Pontious Lane reported a known male had trespassed on her property. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

- A caller reported two males yelling at each other in the 1100 block of Atwater Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

- A female subject in the 100 block of Pontious Lane was transported to Berger Hospital for mental health issues after making at least three separate reports to police.

- An officer reported a malfunctioning traffic light at Main Street and Lancaster Pike. The service department was advised.

- A Kingston resident reported someone threw a trash bag at him while he was riding his motorcycle in the 300 block of Walnut Street. The officer on the scene advised it was a misunderstanding, and the homeowner advised it was accidental.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 300 block of East Ohio Street. The scene checked OK.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm at Dynahoe on East Main Street. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Mound Street reported her Rumpke trash can was missing, and she located it several doors down. She was not sure if it was stolen or moved, but she did get the trash can back.

- A resident in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. reported a dog in the area that may be neglected because he had not seen anyone there to take care of it. The dog warden was advised.

- A caller reported some type of disturbance near the Thirsty Parrot on South Washington Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

July 26

- A resident in the 100 block of East Ohio Street reported her adult son was out of control, tearing things up in the house and hitting a car outside. The father and son were then fighting outside and hitting each other. The subject left the scene, and a report was taken on a domestic dispute.

- A resident in the 400 block of East Mound Street reported a male appeared to be trying to break into a neighbor's car, but then the male fell over and was lying behind the car on the street. Officers advised there was no attempted theft, and the incident was medical related. The subject was transported to Berger Hospital.

- A resident in the 200 block of South Pickaway Street reported a female was yelling for help in the area, and when she looked outside, she saw a male running from the area. Officers located a female subject and transported her back to her resident in the 100 block of South Western Avenue. A report was taken on assault.

- A 911 caller reported he was assaulted by two people in the 200 block of South Western Avenue. The officer spoke with both parties and advised no assault occurred. They reported the caller was at the residence knocking on windows, and when he was asked to leave, he refused. No report was taken.

- A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly northbound in the area of East Franklin and South Pickaway streets. Officers located the vehicle and advised it was a sleepy driver.

- Rodney Crago was arrested in the 1200 block of Turner Drive on charges of receiving stolen property and forgery.

- An employee at Duke and Duchess on East Main Street reported a shoplifter in the store. The juvenile was located and released to his older brother. The business declined to file charges. A report was taken on theft.

- A resident in the 100 block of Town Street reported a neighbor always parks his vehicle in front of her house, and the car alarm constantly goes off. The caller advised this time it had been going off for 10 minutes, and it was an ongoing issue. The vehicle owner was advised.

- Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 800 block of Pershing Drive. Officers advised the female was complaining about a neighbor playing loud music. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any loud music in the area.

- An employee at Berger Hospital requested an officer make contact with a subject on East Mound Street to provide a ride home for a patient at the emergency room. Officers advised the address given was a parking lot. The caller was advised.

- An employee at Berger Hospital reported a male subject was intoxicated and made comments about leaving the hospital without a sober party. The caller advised the male was a risk to himself. Upon arrival, officers advised Berger security had the situation under control.

- An employee at Hardee's on West Main Street reported a male subject was possibly under the influence inside the restaurant and did not make a purchase but was passing out at a table. The subject was located and left in the care of a resident on East Ohio Street. A report was taken on disorderly conduct by intoxication.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm at Health Care Logistics on Town Street. The scene checked OK.

- A caller reported a female cleaning out a vehicle on Lowery Lane was partially in the roadway and was not a resident of the area. Officers advised the female had run out of gas, and arrangements had been made. No report was taken.

- A resident in the 100 block of East Union Street reported a theft. A report was taken.

- A resident came to the police station to turn in a knife found in the 400 block of East Ohio Street. A report was taken on found property.

- A resident in the 300 block of East Mound Street reported a landlord/tenant dispute. The officer advised the landlord left prior to their arrival.

- A 911 caller reported five or six subjects involved in a neighbor dispute in the 1200 block of Norfolk Avenue. A report was taken on disorderly conduct.

- Officers responded to an injury accident in the area of Scioto and Main streets.

- Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of North Scioto Street. The scene checked OK.

- Leslie Brown, 73, was arrested after a 911 caller advised of an active landlord/tenant dispute in the 300 block of East Mound Street.

- An employee at Roosters reported receipt of a counterfeit $100 bill. A report was taken.

- A 911 caller reported a car accident and possible fight between drivers at Walnut and South Washington streets. An arrest was made, and Fletcher's towed the vehicle.

- A caller reported juveniles were riding bikes in front of cars in the 300 block of Barnes Avenue. The bikes were gone prior to the officer's arrival.
